1. Order Cancellation
Guidelines for canceling an order prior to shipmentWe process orders swiftly to ensure fresh rural harvests and handpicked artisanal products reach you on time. You may cancel your order under the following conditions:
Pre-Shipment Cancellation:
If a customer cancels an order before it has been packed or dispatched from our hub, Gaon Originals will accept the cancellation and refund the entire purchase amount within 7 working days (nominal payment gateway transaction charges charged by the processing bank may be deducted).
Orders In Transit:
Please note that once an order has been handed over to our courier partner and is in transit, it cannot be canceled mid-way. In such cases, the customer can initiate a standard return request upon delivery.

- Reported within 7 Days: You contacted our team at care@gaonoriginals.com within 7 calendar days of receipt.
Non-Eligible Conditions
- Used or Washed Items: Fabrics, handlooms, or apparel that have been worn, washed, or altered in any manner.
- Missing Tags or Box: Products returned without original brand labels, tags intact, or protective packaging.
- Perishable / Opened Food Products: Organic spices, honey, grains, or edibles once the outer vacuum seal has been opened (for hygiene safety).
- Minor Handloom Variations: Authentic village handlooms and handmade pottery naturally possess subtle irregularities that celebrate human craftsmanship.

📦 Note on Return Shipping & Duties: For legitimate defect or damage claims, Gaon Originals bears all return courier charges. For discretionary returns or international parcels, return shipping freight and applicable customs duties will be communicated in advance and adjusted from the refund amount.
